Sarah was born in 1749. She is the daughter of Jeremiah Scott and Rebecca Jenks.

Research Notes

There are 2 marriages attached to Sarah on her FS profile. It seems unlikely the marriage to Nathan Verey belongs to her. There is no evidence she was ever in Massachusetts where Nathan's children were born. While the birth records indicate Nathan's childrens mother was Sarah the records do not indicate her maiden name. It also seems unlikely she would leave her 4 children with him to run back home to Rhode Island to marry another man when her youngest child was not yet a year old. More research is needed.
