Edward Scoville was born in about 1675, possibly in Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut Colony. He was the son of John Scoville and Sarah Barnes.[citation needed]
Edward Scoville married Hannah Benton on 21 Feb 1699/1700, in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut Colony.[1][2]
Edward Scoville died on 21 Apr 1703, in Haddam.[3]

Scofield-174 and Scoville-5 appear to represent the same person because: Information on birth, marriage, death all match; I have verified that the correct LNAB is most probably Scoville (actually, Scovil/Scovill/Scobell).
