Charles Everett Scribner was born on 14 Mar 1883 [1][2]in Danforth, Hancock County, Maine, son of Wallace H. Scribner (1840 - 1904) and Anna Clara (McHugh) Scribner (1842 - 1898).

Charles married Rebecca Butler on 4 Oct 1905[3] in Ellsworth, Hancock, Maine. Their son was Jay Butler Scribner (1914 - 1952).

Charles died on 18 Sep 1955[4] [5]in Benton, Kennebec, Maine, United States aged 72.
