Sally Scriggins was born on 9 September 1806 in Barnstead, Belknap, New Hampshire, United States.[1]
Sally (29) married George Ramsell (27) (born in March 1808 in Berwick, York, USA; son of Samuel Ramsell and Elizabeth Merrell (Morrell) Ramsell) on 5 January 1836 in Barnstead.[2] Their children were:
- William Ramsell (23 June 1836 – 11 February 1915)
- James Lewis Ramsell (24 October 1838 – 29 November 1867)
- Almon Ramsell (1840 – 1860)
- Franklin L Ramsell (8 February 1842 – 11 April 1913)
- Seth W. Ramsell (4 February 1844 – 12 February 1894)
- True De Merritt Ramsell (21 February 1846 – 15 June 1931)
- Samuel V Ramsell (29 February 1848 – 8 April 1926)
- Sarah E Ramsell (30 July 1851 – abt. 4 May 1938)
In 1850, Sally (43) was living with her husband, George, in Parsonsfield, York, Maine. [1]

- While trees on Ancestry note her father as William Scriggins and her mother as Sally D. Pickering, I am not able to find any record of their relationship. I have checked Ancestry, FamilySearch and, Newspapers.com and AmericanAncestors as well as Internet Archives for listings. Land-2950 19:04, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
