Dugdale’s Visitation of Yorkshire is a collection of information about important Yorkshire families originally produced Sir William Dugdale in 1665-1666. It was printed by the Surtees Society in 1859. In 1894-1907, J.W. Clay produced a revised version with information about the families continued up to his own time. The section about the Scrope or Scroope family is found at the beginning of volume 2, and can be found on the internet at: https://archive.org/stream/dugdalesvisitati2dugd#page/8/mode/2up (scan of the original) https://archive.org/stream/dugdalesvisitati2dugd/dugdalesvisitati2dugd_djvu.txt (simple text with many mistakes resulting from mechanical conversion of the scan)
