Occupation in 1860 was a lumber dealer with his office at the corner of Main and Fourth. His residence was on the west side of Charlotte between Fourth and Fifth. Charlotte runs from Levee to Independence Ave., east to Kansas.

His land is valued at 00 and his farm machinery is valued at 0. He has 30 horses, 4 mules, 12 milk cows, 20 other cattle, 40 sheep and 50 swine. His livestock is valued at 80. His fields yielded 200 bushels of wheat, 600 bushels of Indian corn and 700 bushels of oats.

Tax Rolls 1882 showed that he owned over 1100 acres of land and a lot in
