Biography

Louisa Jane Seale was born 8 Feb 1853 in Alabama to James F Seale and Mary Ann (Lummus) Johnson. Her parents were married in Sumter county. Louisa's obituary states she was born in Sumter county, Alabama^[1]

Louisa moved with her parents to Texas, perhaps by 1855 by census dates. Her father died shortly after that. She and her siblings lived with their mother and her second husband, J G Johnston through 1870.

Louisa married William T Moon in Leon county, Texas 10 July 1873^[2]

Louisa and her husband moved to Falls county, Texas. Louisa joined the Primitive Baptist church there in 1887.

After her death W T Moon married Minerva Farmer who had children by her previous marriage.

Death

Louisa died 17 Mar 1895 in Falls county, Texas.^{[3] [4]}
