Death
At the time of Winnie’s death in 1919 they were living in Hall county Texas.[8]
Ruth Parolee died 28 Jan 1941 in Turkey, Hall County, Texas, residence for 26 years. The death certificate gives her birth day as “1856 Sept 5”, born Leon County, Texas.[9] She is buried in Dreamland Cemetery, Turkey, Hall county, Texas[10]
Research Notes
Spelling of Ruth’s middle name is varied. The Wyatt Seale Bible used both “Parolie” and “Paralea”, but birth name could be read as “Paralee”. Headstone used “Parolie”
Birthdate is clearly “Sept the 10th 1856” in the Bible record. Death certificate is the source for September 5 and is used on her headstone.
