Biography

Moses Seaman was born about 1764 in New York. He was the son of Jacomiah Seaman and Margaret (Bodee) Seaman. He married Elizabeth Seaman in about 1786. Together, they were the parents of Robert Seaman. On August 6, 1822, he deeded land to Samuel Freeman in Amherst.[1] He passed away after 1822.

Hello. According to the source Smith (see below) there was no son named Moses. Jacomiah Seaman, Sr. had 4 sons: Hezekiah, Stephen, Abraham and Jacomiah, Jr.. Additonally, there is no Moses mentioned as a son in Jacomiah, Sr.'s will. Perhaps Jacomiah Sr., had a brother who's the father of Moses?
