Christopher Search was born 5-7-1764 in Hunterdon Co., NJ. He had moved to Bucks Co., PA by 10-10-1784, when he signed a loyalty oath in Southampton Twp. He was baptised at the Newton Presbyterian Church 3-30-1786 & married Amelia Torbert there on 2-8-1787. They lived in Northampton Twp. until 1799 when he bought a farm in Southampton Twp. They had eight children. She died 10-23-1805 & is buried at the Newton Presbyterian Church graveyard. On 10-3-1806 Christopher Search married Ann Miles, the widow of William Banes. They had nine children. He died 3-18-1842 & is buried beside his First wife. Ann (Miles)Banes Search died 1-28-1865 & is buried at the Southampton Baptist Church.
