Reuben Searls III born 1799, died 1840 Louisa Co IA. Note that he was perhaps actually born in 1800 since the 1800 Census only shows one female child (that would be his sister Elizabeth).

Louisa Co genweb has "Dr. Reuben S. Searl was an early resident of Harrison." The context indicates this was before 1840. Note the middle initial fits.

This man was a nephew of Elisha Searl, who was in the 1840 census of Louisa Co IA and left a widow Sarah and adult children there, including Robert W Searles, born ca 1825 OH, resided Louisa Co IA with wife and children.
