Research Notes

  • There is some discrepancy on whether he was born around 1850 or specifically 1841. This calls for more documentation.

The last name of Dickenson also is in question. It does appear in a handwritten family George Davis for https://www.ancestry.com/mediaui-viewer/tree/175428398/person/362278589096/media/08cd3a16-32d8-4ac2-886f-407b35fded7e?usePUBJs=true. But most sources agree her surname was Sears.

Dickenson-1057 and Sears-1345 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate individual. Not sure if her maiden name was Dickenson or Sears. Same child and spouse, same dates.
