Biography

Melbourne Sears was born on May 9, 1854 in Midgic, Sackville Parish, Westmorland Co., New Brunswick [1] the son of David Sears and Matilda Fillmore. He married Elizabeth Hicks on October 31, 1876.[2]

In 1911, Melbourne was widowed and living with his daughter Nada and her family.

Sears-1597 and Sears-1572 appear to represent the same person because: I was about to add his son, Hersey, when I discovered he already existed, and that we both have profiles for Melbourne, with a slightly different spelling. These are the same person and should be merged.
