Phebe Powers Sears was born on April 17, 1803 in Greenwich, Massachusetts, the ten and youngest daughter of Andrew Haskell Sears and Rachel Stetson. She married Samuel Holt, a portrait painter of Hartford, Connecticut, and died February 14, 1831. [1][2]
