Biography

William was born in 1781. He was the son of and Mary Andrus. He passed away in 1846.

William Sears was born on 10 Jun 1781 in Monson, Hampden, Massachusetts, USA as the fourth child of Sunderland Sears and Mary Andrus. He had eleven siblings, namely: Lydia, Isaac, Reuben, Abram, Mary, Asenath, James, Levi, Charles, Charlotte, and Melinda. He died on 12 May 1846 in St Louis, Missouri, USA. When he was 31, he married Hannah Gregory,daughter of Uriah Gregory and Tamor Rowland, on 12 Nov 1812.

Wm. Sears was a physician, and practised in St Louis, MO[1]

William Sears and Hannah Gregory had the following children:

  1. Elizabeth Sears was born on 20 Feb 1815 in perh, Saratoga, Saratoga, New York, USA. She died on 03 Aug 1822.
  2. Sunderland Gregory Sears was born on 27 Sep 1817 in Saratoga, Saratoga, New York, USA. He died on 01 May 1880 in St Louis, Missouri, USA. He married Isabella Wells Bagley on 28 Oct 4713 BC in New York, New York, USA.
  3. Henry W Sears was born on 21 Mar 1822 in St Louis, Missouri, USA. He died in 1892.
