Joseph Sevey and Sarah Scott;

died, possibly between 1820, when a John Sevey Jr. was enumerated in the USC of Machias, Maine, p. 299,

implying the presence of a John Sr., and 1830, when John Jr. is no longer found in the USC. He may have died before 4 Aug 1824, when his son John sold land in Machias and was not termed John Jr. (Washington Co. Deed 27:363).
