Lucy Seay (daughter of Reuben Seay and Mary Ann Jones) was born December 10, 1803 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. She married Starling Willis Blackwell on June 26, 1826. Lucy is mentioned in her father’s Revolutionary War Pension Application on October 7, 1846 as Lucy Blackwell living in Georgia.[1]
Lucy died on May 16, 1885 in Hall County, Georgia. She was buried at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County Georgia, USA.[2]
