Austin Luck Seay was born about 1812 in Washington County, Kentucky, the son of Jacob Seay jr and Rebecca Davis (Jenkins) Seay. [1]

Austin Seay and Rosa Mattingly were married on 24 November 1840 in Washington County’, Kentucky. [2] Rosa was the daughter of Philip Mattingly and Mary (Yager) Mattingly.
