In 1708 John moved with his parents to the Ritan Valley of New Jersey, and when, as an adult he established his own home, it was near his father's, south of the Raritan River.
About 1745, John and Elinor moved to Bucks Co. PA where he purchased about 400 acres of land, June 17, 1746.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Johannes by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Johannes:
Changing his mother from Leboiteaux-1 to Volkertse-1; as can be seen by his baptism records he was Cristyntje's son. It doesn't appear that Roelof had any children by his second wife.
