Biography

John M. Sebring was born in August 1892, the son of Eugene and Angela Sebring. He was the oldest of five siblings born by 1900: Edith M., Grace A., Lulu J., and Benjamin. [1]

In 1917, John was farming and teaching near Lambert, Montana, and had at least one child with his wife. He was listed with medium height and slender build, blue eyes and brown hair. [2]

The 1940 US Census lists 3 children from his marriage to Mary M. Smith: Beulah, Lola Mae, and Kenneth. [3]

He died on December 14, 1952, in Sidney, Montana, at Community Memorial Hospital. He was a postal clerk, and died of a cerebral vascular accident related to hypertension and arteriosclerosis. [4]
