Matthias Seckinger and Anna Catharina (Gunther) Seckinger arrived with their family 2 Oct 1749, aboard the 5th Palatine Transport "Charles Town Galley"
Mathias was christened on 04 Feb 1717 in Rötenberg. He was the son of cooper ("Kübler") Christoph Seckinger and Catharina.[1]
Matthias Seckinger was the oldest of Christoph and Katharina (Waltz) Seckinger's 3 children. They lived in Rotenberg Evangelical Parish Germany and his father was a Cooper so we assume he at least had the skills to build barrels.
