She married Walter Stanley Bean on the 31st March 1891 at the Holy Trinity Church in Kumara, Westland.

BEAN-SEDDON.—On March 31, at Holy Trinity Church, Kumara, by the Rev J. Blackburne, assisted by the Rev F.P. Fendall, Walter Stanley Bean, eldest son of Richard Bean, Ashburton, to Jennie, eldest daughter of the Win. R.J. Seddon, Kumara.
Both Jane and her mother were joint executors for the will of her father Richard[3].
She died during 1955 and in her will[4] requested that she be buried at Halswell Cemetery with her husband.
