Biography

James Seddon was born in about 1850 in Prescot, Lancashire, England, ^[1] the son of Richard Seddon. ^[2]

He married Sarah Malilda Harbin (Grace) Green, a widow, on 8 April 1871 at St Matthew's church, Manchester, Lancashire.^[2]

In 1891 he was living with his wife and 6 children in 12 Theodore Street, Ardwick, Lancashire. He was a provision salesman. ^[1]

In 1901 he was in South Manchester with his wife and 5 children. He was a school caretaker. ^[3]

In 1911 he was his wife and a daughter at 27 Devonshire Street, Ardwick. ^[4]
