Harriett was born in Chichester, Sussex in about 1804. She was most likely the daughter of Thomas and Mary Taylor, baptised in St Peter the Great, Chichester on 18 April 1806. [1]

Henry Suter and Harriet Taylor were married on 8 April 1828, in Southampton, Hampshire [2]
