George Seeger was born on January 10, 1744 in Brickerville, Lancaster, Province of Pennsylvania, son of Johann George Seeger (1719–1800) and Anna Elizabetha Seeger (1721–1765).
George (23) married Elizabeth Sheets (17) (born about 1749 in Brickerville, Pennsylvania; daughter of George Schutz and Elizabeth (Kibler) Sheetz) on September 22, 1767 in Lancaster. Their children were:
