According to Jacobus, Ebenezer Seeley was baptized July 5, 1696 at Stratfield, Connecticut. [1] However, abstracts of Bridgeport, Connecticut church records state that Ebenezer, James & Hannah, children of Nathaniell, bp. July 5, 1695.[2]
Ebenezer died 24 July 1717 according to the Bridgeport church records. [2] His son, Ebenezer, died 6 November 1717. [2] His wife gave birth to another son whom she named Ebenezer. He was baptized on 10 November 1717. [2]
Marriage
Ebenezer was married to Jerusha Sherman. He mentions his father-in-law, Captain David Sherman of Stratfield, in his will.[3][4] They had at least three children, but it appears the first two did not survive infancy since only the unborn child was mentioned in his will. [4]

Probate
His inventory was taken on 10 March 1717/18. His widow Jerusha made a solemn oath that it was a true inventory.[5]
