Edward was born in 1807. He passed away in 1870.
Pvt., Co. E ("Adams Rifles," Harrison Co., MS), 20th MS Inf. E nlisted ca. 5/20/1861 @ Handsboro [now Gulfport] @ age 54. Discharged for disability [tuberculosis], Oct. 21, 1861, Meadow Bluff, Greenbrier Co., VA [now WV]. Southern Patriot!
Edward died AFTER July 1, 1870, as he is listed then on the U.S. Federal Census of Police District 2, Harrison County, Mississippi and so is his wife Mary Seeley, born c. 1805, Georgia ; death place is obviously presumed to be the same.
He was a Confederate Soldier in 1862, C.S.A. ; a Farmer, Laborer
