Funeral service in memory of J.A. Seely were conducted from the Troy Center M.E. church Sunday... The interment was made in the Troy Center cemetery...

Mr. Seely, a retired farmer, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday at the home of his son, Ralph R. Seely at Troy Center, after an illness of two months. He spent most of his life in the community where he lived. He was twice married, Louisa Deeter & Sarah Henderson, both wives having preceded him in death. He is survived by the following sons: Ralph R. and Walter L. Seely of Troy Center and Jacob L. Seely of Woodland Heights, Oil City. A son, Floyd W. Seely was killed in action in the World War. There are three grandchildren, Miss Verda Seely of Erie, Leo and Billy Seely of Troy Center, and one great-grandchild, Mary Lou Seely of Troy Center. The deceased also leaves the following brothers: Joseph Seely of Portland, NY, EB Seely of Grand Valley and Charles Seely of Oil City.
