I have an ancestor Maria Seidar that was married to a Basilius Popovics. However, maybe she was married to other spouses too.  ?? I have absolutely no idea if this 'Mary Ann' is my relative. She was born in PA not Europe. My paternal side was from Hungary-Austria (now Ukraine). I suspect Czechoslovakia or Romania, possibly Germany. I am at a brick wall with Maria Seidar. I did come across several other spellings, ' Szidor, Sidor, Cider, Seider...

Hi, Patricia,

Records confirm she was born in PA and did not have any other spouses, so she is not Maria Seidar. You could check with the appropriate Europe Project and see if they can help (check projects for the country she may have come from). Good Luck!
