Minna Eliza Sellers was born in Pekin, Illinois on 9 February 1874 to William and Eliza (Smith) Sellers.
She married Adelbert Olmsted and they had a daughter Gertrude who became a starlet in the early silent movie era.
Following her husband's death she moved to Los Angeles in the early 1930's to live with her daughter and son-in-law on Franklin Avenue.[1]
Minna Olmsted died in Los Angeles on 18 June 1944. Her remains were placed in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale. [2]
