Daniel Bond born at Wotton under Edge Gloucestershire the son of John and Jane SELMAN. Died at St Peters in 1909. At a young age he immigrated to America where he married Hannah Ann HILL in Connecticut USA, he then came to Melbourne Australia in 1853 on the ship 'ARIADNE', his wife Hannah followed in 1862 and there was at least one child born of this marriage. At some later stage he moved to Sydney and met Anna Maria ENGERT and she had seven children between 1868 and 1877 all registered with the surname ENGERT but all used the name SELMAN for marriage and death registration. Hannah Ann HILL/SELMAN died in 1875 and Anna and Daniel married in 1878 and had a further seven children.
