In the 1850 census Acey (age about 63) was living with his family in Breathitt County, Kentucky.[7]
Research Notes
When Rachel Sergeant and her twin sister Jane were born in 1796 in Caswell, North Carolina, their father, Abraham, was 19 and their mother, Elizabeth, was 22. She married Asa Fields on July 11, 1812, in Tennessee.[8][9] They had ten children in 23 years. She reportedly died in 1853 in Kentucky at the age of 57 and is buried in the southwest corner of Lee's College campus.[10]
