Our ancestors may have fought side by side then, and I honor your Robert Sevier. I'm descended from Joshua Sherrill and his father William Sherrill and also Burt Moore, I believe they were all under the command Brig. Gen. Sevier at King's Mtn.

I wonder if you are descended from the famous Brig. Gen. Sevier of the battle of King's Mountain? I have Sherrill's in my tree who fought there and greatly enjoyed reading about Col. Sevier and his relatives.
I love seeing the history of our country through the individual stories of the men and women who made it great.
