Florence, of Portland, Ontario, died on February 14, 1946, at the Smiths Falls Hospital. She was born on September 29, 1872 in England, the daughter of Thomas Seward and Mary Landis (sic), both born in England. The informant was her sister, Winnie Bryden, of Elgin. Her cause of death was bronchopneumonia and influenza. She had been in the hospital for four days for a broken arm, following a slip and fall on the ice in the backyard of her home.

Burial

Florence was buried at Halladay Burial Place, in Elgin, Ontario.
