Biography

Timothy was born on September 10, 1854 at Brimstone in Scott County, Tennessee. He was the son of Emanuel Sexton and Jane Strunk Sexton. He was a farmer and was married three times, his daughter's name Emma , that appears on the 1900 census, was from his first marriage. He married Lucinda ( have no last name ) in 1885 in Scott County, the marriage ended in divorce on March 12, 1891, adultery by Lucinda. His second marriage was to Izilla Newport on January 21, 1892 in Scott County. After her death in 1908, he married Slynvania McCartt on May 23, 1926 in Scott County. Timothy passed away from pulmonary edema and acute nephritis on July 12, 1944 at Huntsville in Scott County.
