Do you know how it feels to not be part of a family. I do. I was born an only child. Both of my parents died when I was young. My mother from England married my father from America. When We we came to America my fathers family never accepted us. They said my mother only married him to get to America. One problem with that they were correct. My father loved my mother more then life. He was a Ticket to America for her. I never knew my family from England and I never was accepted into the family from America. I've been married twice and divorced twice. I'm still not sure what a family is?

Hi Paul

Thank you for changing your privacy setting, nice to meet you and happy tree building.

If you get stuck or have a brick wall ask in the G2G forum link is in the previous email I sent you.

Hi Paul,

A warm welcome to WikiTree. You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree!

Click here to start with our New Member How To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!

Paul do not concern yourself with not being good enough to join WikiTree. We were all beginners at some point.

The England Project has an Orphans Team where you can learn more. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:England We would be happy to help you.
