Biography
Ola was born 18 Feb 1917 in Knott, KY. She was the daughter of John Sexton and Roda Huff.[1]
In 1920, Ola Sexton, 3, was living in East Whitesburg, Letcher, KY with her parents, John, 24, and Roda, 25. Also in the household were Gladys, 5, and Lovida, 1. She was born in KY.[2]
In 1930, Ola, 14, was living in East Whitesburg, Letcher, KY with her parents, John, 33, and Minnie, 14. Also in the household were Lovel, 11, Georgia, 9, Buddy, 6, Mary, 3, and Tranels, 2.[3]
In 1940 Ola Rose, 24, was living in Letcher, KY with her husband, Henry, 27. Also in the household were Jimmie, 5, Shelby, 3, Delmer, 1, and Betty, 6 mo. They were all born in KY. Henry was a coal miner.[4]
