Eliza[1] was born 25 December 1770 to parents Daniel Seymour and Lydia King, in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut County. She married Captain Chauncey Barnard (his second wife) on 15 Feb 1818 in Hartford. No children are mentioned, and as she was 48 when she married, it is likely that she had none.[2]
