Frances (Seymour) Hungerford was a member of aristocracy in the British Isles.


Lady Frances Seymour was the da. of Charles Seymour, 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge and his first wife Mary Soley (d. bef. 1654), da. and hrss. of Thomas Soley of Wiltshire. She m. 5 Apr 1665 Sir George Hungerford, and was bur. 16 Aug 1715 at Bremhill, co. Wilts.[1]

Research Notes

Ewing's genealogy has her as the da. of Mary Smith.[2]

Also in VCH - "Thomas Smith (d. 1637) settled it on his daughter Mary (d. by 1654) on her marriage to Charles Seymour (from 1664 Lord Seymour, d. 1665), and it descended to Mary's daughter Frances Seymour (fn. 119) "
