Biography
Roberts parents, who were both from Sandisfield, Massachusetts, lived in Nebraska in 1870 and that is where his birthplace is listed in the 1880 census. His parents appear to have registered his birth in Massachusetts and he may have used this as his birthplace later in life. He may be the Robert S. Seymour whose wife was Florence Seymour.
