Stanley Briscoe Seymour (1845 - 1919) was a watch maker and jeweler in Timaru. He was burnt out in the Great Fire of 1868 and was bankrupted that year (I searched the fire and found a reference to him - its about 2/3rd of the way down the article linked below) https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/CHP18681210.2.17 In about 1870 he qualified as a dentist and was living in Christchurch and soon after 1874 in Akaroa (other side of the peninsular of Christchurch). He took part in an amateur play at St Luke school in 1974. He was in Akaroa in 1876 and a member of the Akaroa Masonic Lodge
Married at St Michaels in Christchurch to Bessie Edith Smith on 14.11. 1866 - Bessie was the 3rd daughter of William Blundell and Bessie Smith. William was also a watchmaker and had a shop on the South West Corner of Cashel and Colombo sts.
