Hi there!

I'm a WikiTree mentor checking in to say hello.

Any issues or concerns regarding Wikitree? Confused about formatting or merges? Wondering how to do something?

If so, I can probably help. Please feel free to contact me anytime via my profile page.

Hi Shane

Could I ask you to avoid abbreviations. CT will mean nothing to a lot of folk around the world.

Regarding Richard Seymour

He obviously left England where he was born but which country is this country that he was the first to arrive in?

Statements need to be as complete as possible especially for the older profiles as it can be very difficult to source these. So the clearer the information is the more helpful it will be to grow the profile and bring his life story to life.

You know what you mean it is the rest of us that don't so write it for us.

It sounds like you have some wonderful family and appreciate that you are willing to share it here on WikiTree.

Thank you

Janet

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations. Citations & links for sources enable verification of data please add from wiki ID go to Research to find sources

The United Kingdom may be of interest. Adding the tag United_Kingdom to get updates about the project.

Hi Shane

You have been a member about a week. How is it going so far. Was the first page of the How-Tos helpful or did it leave you with questions?

If you click the green tags on your profile page, you'll see if other members are following the tag

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.

Thank you for volunteering. You are now a full member of WikiTree.

Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:

Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.
