Biography

John Seymour was baptised on 18 Sep 1648 as "John Seymer the son of John Semor", in Ogbourne St Andrew, Wiltshire, England.

He married Anne Goddard in East Woodhay, Hampshire, England, on 24 Jun 1671. This was also recorded in the parish register of Ogbourne St Andrew, after baptisms in 1666. [1]

John was buried in Ogbourne St Andrew on 11 Jun 1691 as John "Seymore Jun:". His surname on the memorial in the church is spelt "Seymour".
