FamilySearch gives his birthplace as West Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut and death place as Westmoreland, Oneida, New York. No sources given.

Birthplace is listed as Connecticut on 1850 and 1855 Census records. Cordelia (Seymour) Hart gives her father's birthplace as Connecticut on the 1880 Census.

Aaron and Walter appear as heads of household on the 1840 Census at Caledonia, Shiawassee, Michigan. No Aaron Seymour appears in Michigan on the 1850 Census.

However, in 1850 at Westmoreland, Oneida, New York an Aaron and son Charles are in the household of Zenas Howes. Aaron has no occupation.

In 1855 Aaron is residing the same place in a hotel with son Charles. Aaron's occupation appears to be Domestic and Charles is a clerk. Both have been in city/town 2 years.

Aaron Seymour is listed as father on Cordelia (Seymour) Hart's death record.
