Biography

Uriah Seymour was born September 16, 1801 in New Hartford, New York. He was the son of Abner and Chloe (Andus/Andrews) Seymour of Ingersoll, Canada. He moved to Madoc, Canada in 1835. ^{[1] [2]}

He married Hannah Olmsted in Wayne County, New York.

Their children were:

1. Kirkland Henry; b. July 17, 1834; d. Aug. 7, 1836
2. Frederick Elisha, b. June 6, 1838

Uriah and Hannah moved to Madoc, Hastings, Ontario, Canada, sometime before 1850. ^{[3] [4]}

Uriah Seymour died April 21, 1867 in Madoc, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. He is buried in Lakeview Protestant Cemetery in Madoc. ^[5]
