Richard Seymour was born in about 1780 in Stretham, Cambridgeshire. He was the son of Matthew & Susanna Seymour[1].
In 1804 he married Mary Fuller in Witchford, Cambridgeshire,[2] and they had 12 children: Matthew (b.c.1805, d.1878), Richard (b.c.1806, d.1874), John (b.c.1808), Poole (b.c.1809, d.1810), Mary (b.c.1810), Poole (b.c.1812, d.1878), Robert (b..c.1814, d.1886), Thomas (b.c.1816), James (b.c.1818, d.1893), David (b.c.1819, d.1872), Susan (b.c.1821, d.1840) and Emma (b.c.1823, d.1823).
Richard died aged 64 in 1844 in Ely Workhouse[3] and was buried in Stretham[4].
