Biography

Mary Shabery was born about 1580 possibly at Cranfield, Bedfordshire.

Mary married Lawrence Samson at Cranfield on 2 June 1601.[1][2] Her father was buried at Campton, Bedfordshire on 3 December 1607: "a stranger being father to Laurence Sampson's wife dwelling at Cranfield".[citation needed]

Laurence and Mary had the following sons, all baptized at Campton:

  1. John, baptized 28 April 1602[1]
  2. Thomas, baptized 11 February 1604/5[1]
  3. George, baptized 19 October 1606; married Judith Robinson at Campton at had children[1]
  4. Laurence, baptized 1 January 1609/10[1]
  5. Francis, baptized 15 December 1611[1]
  6. Abraham, baptized 14 August 1614, probably the immigrant to New England[1]

Mary's date and place of death are unknown.
