Biography

Martha is on the 1850, and 1860 Fed Census records with her parents and siblings.^[1]

On the 1870 Census, Martha is listed with John W B Barnett as married with a son John H 4.^[2]

On the 1880 Fed Census, there are 4 children in the house, John now 14, Mary J 7, Charles R T 2, and James W E 2.^[3]

On the 1900 Fed Census she and John have only one daughter at home Eliza M 19 and this census said she had 4 children.^[4]

She is living with her husband John W B Barnett on the 1910 Fed Census, which shows they had been married 41 years and she had 5 children 4 of whom were still living. It was his 2nd marriage and her first.^[5]

She has a find a grave record which gives a picture of her tombstone.^[6]
