William Shaffer is a part of US Black heritage.

William R. J. Shaffer was born in Ohio in 1844. In the 1850 census Wm (age 6) was in German Township, Darke, Ohio, United States.^[1]

He married Cora E. Rickman on November 23, 1871, in Darke County, Ohio, USA.^[2]

Research Notes

There is a USBH William Shaffer (abt.1824-1914) family that spends most of their time in Randolph, Indiania but some end up in Michigan. Some of the children attached here might be children of the other family.
