Biography

When Leah E Shaffer was born on April 7, 1935, in South Charleston, Ohio, her step-father, Huston Shaffer, was 32, and her mother, Ruby, was 19. She married Billy Ray Stafford on May 29, 1954. They had four children during their marriage. She died at the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio of a brain tumor as a young mother on February 18, 1961, at the age of 25, and was buried in Enon, Ohio.
